This is rare first edition, number 186 of 1000, of Our American Heritage. Printed in 1940, I am curious as to how the role of rising move toward global socialism & fascism, along with the war in Europe and our own social climate contributed to it's publication. It is curious that this was published 2 years prior the adoption of the Pledge of Allegiance by Congress and so all things considered, is a great example of the climate and discussions going on in our nation during this time. Anyway, a rare original 1st edition with most known copies in the hands Universities & Museums. So not a lot of opportunities for the private sector to add this publication to their collection. The only publicly available copy I could find was listed for sale for $7500.00. A really nice value for some collector somewhere.

Do note, shipping costs includes the travel time and box I will need to purchase to ship this in.
