Early Victorian 18K Gold 3 Leaf Clover Pearl Statement Ring Size 8
What a fine example of an early Victorian finger ring that would make a wonder anniversary gift, wedding ring or gift to the bride for the "something old" tradition. I love the symbolism from the period and how this ring brings together that tradition in a manner that is subtle with the beauty and design incorporating the good fortune in life that we all wish to have.
Most likely worn as a wedding ring during the Victorian time period or given as a wedding gift to someone held in high regard, this 18K yellow gold ring features 3 leaf clovers on each side of the band set with seed peal halves. A small gold ball is found down the center to represent the end of the stem for the clover. The center row feature 3 pearls 2 prong set and one gypsy set. The 3 leaf clover is historically known for Good Luck. The band is a mixed design, with a solid band on the lower half and wired band on the top half. This ring looks good for its age and presents well.
Head of the ring measures 10.41mm deep, width of the setting area is approx 16.83mm wide with a rise off the finger of 4.49mm
