Do I Need An Account

You do not need to have an account to shop on the juststuffisell.com website. Having an account does offer some features and benefits that you can learn more about here.

Gift wrapping and packaging

At this time, we do not offer gift wrapping services. We do hope as this venture grows to be able to expand our service to include more specialized offerings like this.

Does your shop offer Layaway

Yes, just choose the Lay-Buy option at checkout. Be sure to review the Lay-Buy terms before you use the online layaway process we've set up for our customers.

Does your shop accept returns or exchanges?

All qualified items come with a standard shop 14 day inspection period except those items noted as no return. Each item has its returnable status as part of the description. Other return restrictions apply. You can learn more by reviewing our return policy. We do not offer exchanges. All the items we sell in this shop are antique, vintage, pre-owned, previously loved items and are considered collectibles, as such, they will show age and use appropriate wear.

How Do I Return An Item

We believe we provide an easy process for the return of any qualified item. To initiate a return, simply review our return policy and initiate a return by contacting Customer Support

Do you offer custom services for Jewelry

At this time, we do not offer personalized (engraving) services, resizing services or custom modification on items we have for sale. These additional services will need to be performed by your local jeweler. Again, we do hope in the future to expand what we are able to offer :)

How quickly will my item ship

Orders placed before 2PM eastern time will usually ship the same day once phone verified, but do allow a 1 to 2 day handling time as we sometimes get a lot of work going on or are out on the road doing inventory buys. If you require faster delivery, please call us to talk about your needs.

If you need something shipped out the same day the order must come in before 4PM eastern time and you will need to arrange for that service before you place your order. It will require a special trip to the USPS on our end, which is not a big deal beyond making sure someone is available to make a special run. Please call first to ensure that we can meet your shipping and delivery requirements at 910-745-0700

Do you clean your jewelry items

Most pieces receive a sonic cleaning or a basic soap & water bath, depending upon the gemstones mounted in the piece.

Gold piece receive a polish using a basic gold cleaning solution - again depending upon the gemstones mounted in them.

Silver pieces are sold as they are acquired without any polishing with few exceptions. Patina on silver is earned with age and usually adds a nice touch of character to a piece. The exceptions are pieces that we believe will sell better fully polished. Polishing on silver is completed by a 3rd party and ranges in costs from $15 to $50.00 depending upon the complexity of the piece - so we do try to minimize that expense. If you are looking for a safe polish for your silver pieces, we recommend Blitz Silver Polish.

Care Instructions for Silver

The proper way to clean silver is with a silver polish similar to Blitz silver shine and a polish cloth made for silver. It is a slow process, but protects the surface of sterling from damage. To get into crevices, you can use a small horse hair brush that will not scratch the silver surface.

For dirt and grime build up, a ultrasonic bath is recommended using water and liquid laundry detergent. A little goes a long way and the soap helps with breaking up and lifting dirt out of crevices.

Incorrect methods for clean sterling include harsh chemical dips and the home grown "Foil & Baking Soda" methods. The "easy" methods will risk damaging the surface of your silver jewelry, especially on heavily tarnished pieces.

Care Instructions for Gold

Gold jewelry can be cleaned using multiple processes. The most common and effective is a gentle gold cleaning dip which is safe for most gemstones. These dips usually come with a hand brush which is good for getting into the tight crevices around settings.

For heavily soiled or hardened materials, nothing beats an ultrasonic bath with about 1/2 a teaspoon of laundry detergent. Again, pay attention to the gemstones mounted and make sure that this technique is safe for them. It is not recommended that you use a sonic cleaning machine on jewelry with seed pearls or antique pieces.

For a more detailed cleaning, finish off your piece with a hand polish using a gold polishing cloth.

Antique jewelry should always be cleaned by hand and ideally professionally cleaned by your local jeweler. It pays to have mountings checked during this process!
