Great travel souvenir. Given the maker of the piece is Tome Industria out of Argentina, probably mid circa 1960's though just as easily could be from the 1970's time frame. The box this was in had a collection of ephemera dated specifically from the 1961 to 1963 time period and how I am gauging the age - so take that for whatever it is worth. The restaurant La Cabana is still in business in Buenas Aires Argentina today and specializes in beef.
Knife is 9 3/16" in length total with grip and the blade itself is 4 7/8" long approx. Original wood grip is in fine condition. Blade has some rust and staining that should clean up nicely after polishing. One area has a gouge in it, and look maybe from the factory. The original leather sheath is in good condition needing cleaned and conditioned with some staining. The original cow is on the sheath is in fine condition. The belt loop portion wants to fold over a little probably from how it was store for years. Really a solid piece.
