Circa 1849. This is a cloth bound book in red faded cloth. Full title is The Miscellaneous Works of Oliver Goldsmith with an Account of his Life and Writings.
Stereotyped from the Paris Edition, Edited by Washington Irving. Complete in One Volume. Printed in Philadelphia by Crissy & Markley, No. 4 Minor Street. Dated 1849.

Notable issues: Sunning darkening to the spine with edge wear. Covers show shelf wear, dirt, some darkening and discoloration corner wear chipping on both covers with spotting etc. Spine top half has split away. Binding is good and intact with and pretty tight. Pages are overall good with foxing/spotting & tanning from various articles leaves and what not, plus the material used in the paper. Staining - possible water - lower left through to about the table of contents Original owners name written on inside front cover page with the date.
