A very rare antique, what I believe is painted glass, image of the Memorial Hall at the 1876 Centennial International Exhibition. I believe the brooch at one pointed was gilt brass. Greening showing through on the metal. Very nice overall condition for its age.
The Centennial International Exhibition of 1876, the first official Worlds Fair in the United States, and was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from May 10 to November 10, 1876, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia.
