1907 Inter Class Basketball Champions
Please do review all of the photographs as they are of the actual item you are buying.
A fabulous gilt sterling silver Edwardian period basketball champion medal. The award was given to G. F. Gautier, Foward, who played for the winning team from a school with the initials S. V. C. The plaque portion of the medal reads; H. S. Inter Class Basket Ball Champions 1907. These are hard to find, and rarely available for purchase.
The piece is a yellow gold, acid washed type metal surface and measures 1 1/2" high, 1" wide and is approx 1.18mm thick and weighs a total of 7 grams. The piece is a gold gilt, with some wear to the gilding, sterling silver medal. There is an unknown makers mark of a letter "e" in side a duck or a swan. I was unable to identify the maker.
