1912 Illinois Pocket Watch Grade 304, Model 7, 17j, 16s, Openface Fahy's 20 YrI have the pictured pocket watch for sale. The pocket watch wound up and the time set. Has run and kept accurate time for about 18 hours. Estimated 1912 production 300 units.
Dial - Dial is art deco look, needs properly cleaned & polished and I think will pop nicely once done.
Crystal - Feel plastic aftermarket with minor scratches
Hands - Have original bluing and need cleaned. Second hand has a tiny bit of fabric/string on it. Crown - Visually looks solid, the winding is jenky - meaning a slight initial slip before it wound right up without issue. Time set is the crown is sloppy by does not slip. Probably needs adjusted.
Lever Set - n/a
Bale - Intact and looking sharp
Works - Looked clean and run as if serviced at some point.
Case - Gold filled, Top screw off cover has a ding area or casting imperfection at the 8 o'clock, case shows the same around the 6 & 4 o'clock. Scratches to the case with no noted brassing. Case is a hinged fahys montauk 20 year case and the case has been personalized on the inside.
