1914 Elgin Pocket Watch Grade 386 Model 109, 17 Jewel Size 16s 4 RepairI have the pictured pocket watch for sale. Pocket watch does not wind so unknown running condition sold for parts or repair, no return
Dial - Dial presents well, but has multiple hairlines to include between the 12 & 1, the 1 & 2 at the 7&8,
Crystal - Feels like it is glass, unknown if original to the case, somebody went crazy with the glue so it is a mess along the rim with glue everywhere.
Hands - Look to have original bluing with minor splotching
Crown - Winds and sets the time.
Lever Set - n/a
Bale - in place, but has plating losses
Works - Look clean visually, and looked as if someone serviced it at some point. The works just wind and wind which to me indicate the main spring is either broken or came off.
Case - is a fahys montauk 20 year case. Shows a lot of brassing along the main case and the edges of the back cover with losses visible in the design.
