Circa 1960 era Zuni inlaid bolo tie featuring an Apache Crown Dancer. Large oval display with a wire wrap style surround. This is most likely the original leather and tips. The Bennet clasp needs disassembled and cleaned as there is greening going on it. The leather will want to be cleaned and conditioned as well as it wants to go where it wants and has greening on it from the clamp. Nice patina to the piece. Looks signed, but I cannot make it out if it actually is signed by the maker. The bolo and tips are sterling, the bennet clamp is base metal material.
Please review all of the photographs as they are of the actual item you are buying.
Size: Total length of the bolo tip to tip is about 38". Sterling tips are 2 1/8" by themselves, the bolo is about 2 1/8" high and about 1 9/16" wide
Weight: Just dropping the bolo itself on the scale with everything else hanging off comes out at 39.5 grams
Main Stone: inlaid with onyx, coral, turquoise and mother of pearl
Notable: Nice pre-owned condition, unpolished with a nice patina showing age & use appropriate wear.
