As pictured. Painted wood doll from circa 1820's to 1850's. Legs are articulated - they move - the arms move as well. Small nick on the back shoulder. A female one that was 1 1/2" high was appraised on the Antique road show in Virginia for $1200.00 to 1500.00 retail and was called a "Peg Wooden Tuck Comb Doll - Circa 1825".
This item was part of a vintage & antique dollhouse & miniatures collection I have been liquidating. The collection was started in 1916 and I simply don't know when the last piece was added to the collection. Unless noted, there are no marks. If there are any notes available on the piece, they will be included above.
