A rare local history piece circa 1865's fusee pocket watch by Carnegie Brothers based out of Toronto Canada. This is a silver cased pocket watch, but the pocket watch case is in very poor condition. Case is hallmarked for london 1865/6 and the case maker warrant is J.W - Really, this piece is about local Toronto Canada history :)
Please do review all of the photographs as I may have missed something.
Dial - In fair condition with numerous hairlines and touch ups.
Hands - In poor and fair condition with one broken and the second hand appearing to be a replacement.
Works - are wound tight and do not run. Diamond jeweled. Clearly needing cleaned and serviced.
Case - is in poor condition. It is basically scrap. The inner cover is damaged as someone couldn't figure out that it does not open. The front cover is askew and has dings and scratches. Back cover is in better condition but is askew. crystal ring shows wear and scratches but looks usable. .
