Antique Finely Carved Artisan Signed Japanese Netsuke Man Leading Horse
What a lovely finely carved Japanese artisan netsuke of a man leading a horse. Carved in bone, this artisan piece features a highly detailed horse with black trim designed to bring out the fine details in the carving. The old man leading the horse appears to be restraining him while deep in thought. This piece is uncleaned and should be properly cleaned up. No noted chips cracks or damage to the piece. This fine carving measures 1 1/2" long, about 7/8" wide at its widest point and about 1 5/16" high at the highest point.
This item was part of a vintage & antique dollhouse & miniatures collection I have been liquidating. The collection was started in 1916 and I simply don't know when the last piece was added to the collection. The earliest known piece in this collection dates between 1825 and 1850.
This item is sold as liquidation and sold as is, as pictured, no return.
This item condition is overall very good condition.
This item will be shipped via FedEx, fully insured with a direct signature from the buyer required.
