A rare saleman sample swiss made gunmetal pocket watch. Watch appears to be circa 1890's. Case measures about 2 1/2" wide and about .77 inches deep and a whopping 3.3 inches to the crown. Watch winds and runds. Accuracy has not been checked. As I do not know how to disassemble this style pocket watch, I have chosen to leave it exactly as it is ready for your restoration.
Wear to the gunmetal on the case. Deeper scratching around the inner works cover. Looks like it may have been painted at one point black. It is possible that is bluing residue. Will need to be re-blued. An easy enough process from what I have read.
Please do review all of the photographs as I may have missed something.
