Offer up for sale is a Georges Favre Jacot award winning pocket watch model from the Milan 1906 Worlds Fair. The watch works are cased in a open face 875 silver watch case. The back cover has been repaired before with visible solder. The inside of the cover shows repair and ding associated. The inner works cover is good and reflects Medaille D'or Milan 1906 Levees Visibles Double Plateau Balancier Compense. The watch is approximately an 18s in size.
The works need to be cleaned & serviced but do wind and run. Visible pallets, double roller with compensated balance wheel. The dial is in good condition. Hands are in poor condition - I do not believe they are original to the watch. The hour hand sits flat on the dial and gets hung up on the second hand. The hands come off easily. The dial has hairline cracks. The crystal is glass, but need to be reset into the front cover. The crystal mount/front cover is rose gold plated over 875 silver and has lost much of its rose gold color.
