"The mother of Jaebet, an Israelite of the tribe of Judah, gave him this name, which means a sorrowmaker, because as she says, that she bore him with sorrow, but afterwards he became more glorious than his brethren. For it is common that those children who are born with great danger afterwards do great things in the church or in the worldly government, which, because Satan notices, he would like to kill them in childbirth, which would also happen if GOD did not particularly preserve them."
