A rare original photograph by T. Richard from circa 1869. This photo was part of a catalog of Adolphe Braun so it assumed they were working together. The photo title is Schoss Tarasp. The image features a view of castle Tarasp to the right and to the left, a partial view of a small village area below. Tarasp Castle is located in Switzerland, near the former municipality of Tarasp, in Lower Engadin, Graubünden. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance.
The photo card measures approx 11" x 8 1/4" with the actual image sizing being about 8 1/4" x 6 1/8" approx. I believe the photograph uses the albumen silver print technique.
