An interesting NY estate find featuring an early Charles Krypell double link style watch conversion. This has obviously been converted from a watch to a panel bracelet with toggle clasp. Each of the double links are individual panels and feature the early modernist design style that Charles Krypell was known for. There are six total panels, 3 on each side. The porcelain insert features what looks to be an Arabic scene of a man and a woman and is attached using jewelers glue. Watch works and back are long gone. Ideal for a 7" wrist or smaller
Charles Krypell is a famous New York jewelry designer who opened his operation in 1976 with a primary focus of creating jewelry in sterling silver. This is a rare watch variation from his early days.
