Rare Montreal Canada Hand Painted Canoe Native American Souvenir Piece Japan
Circa 1950's made in Japan, this piece is hand painted and assembled. Features a yellow canoe made or what appears pressed and shaped paper machete type material. In the canoe are two hand painted Western Chief's or Native American's made of I believe celluloid. Both would have been paddling, but unfortunately their paddles at some point came loose and have since disappeared. I guess from here on out, they'll be paddling this canoe by hand :)
Measures about 5 7/8" long. The paint on this is in great shape for its age. Some of the glues are giving away as one might expect with the age. The Chief hands are intact and have the holes for a replacement paddle if you dare attempt to create some.
Just a really nice unusual piece and I am sure some collector would appreciate this as a nice gift :)

This item condition is overall very good condition for its age, but it is missing the paddles.
