In the Style of Charles Oudin Stem Wind Victorian Ebonite Pocket Watch Chatelaine
Lovely 800 silver accented Victorian chatelaine half hunter pocket watch, key wound and key set, unsigned in the style of Charles Oudin. French marks on the lapel clip of the chatelaine for silver. Circa 1860 time period, plain white ceramic dial with gilded hands. Works are clean with again, no noted signatures and will need to be serviced (not running - starts and stops). Glass cover over works. Original glass crystal has scratching.
The half hunter pocket watch features round roman numerals separate from the dial. The roman numerals are in good overall condition showing the wear & minor losses one would expect of an estimated 160 year old pocket watch. The original ebonite case on this piece is in excellent condition.
The chatelain features 2 additional round ebonite discs, discolored, wrapped in silver with silver flower centers..
Measures approx 5" high and has its original key.
