Rare to find a matched set of Victorian era bridal bracelets. While not the best examples, they are a solid example. As you can see, both are missing their "Seed Pearls" with only one of a total of 6 remaining. An easy enough repair. The more challenging repair is the missing tassels on the one bracelet. The slide bracelet with the tassels is missing one little ball cap for the tassel ends. Beyond some normal greening on the remaining tassels these are quite a lovely pair. While I have tried to be thorough on these, I may have missed something important so please do check the photographs.
The "gold fill" is in sound condition with some wear as would be expected of this type of item. Analysis of the metal reads these as 10K gold filled/plated. Patent information on the bottom says PAT'D NOV. 7 71 & PAT'D JUN, 25 72. I would guess these are the mid 1870's maybe the 1880's time period. Comparable matched sets I noted are selling for around the 600.00 to 700.00 price range, but in nicer condition.
