What a cute circa 1940's sombrero pin brooch featuring a bezel set onyx with wire "rope" accent and an etched floral look on sterling silver. Pin is marked on the back (signed) by the artisan, though mostly just the initials are readable (JE). This is clearly a piece made in Mexico, though does appear to be pre-eagle. Pin mechanism is secure and tight working exactly as it should. Would make a wonderfully unique pendant conversion for the right person. Certainly could use a proper polish and priced accordingly.
