A droll worthy mid 19th century hand carved ivory Chinese export calling card case from the Qing Dynasty. One side features a cross with villager scene, the other side features a vase with villager scene. Inside the case are three, what are believed to be, period calling cards with the name Mrs. John W. Valentine. The piece shows age appropriate wear, one hairline crack on the cover, an small edge chip and has been uncleaned. The piece measures 4 1/8" x 2 1/8".
This item condition is overall very good condition.
