Lovely vintage Hopi style tribal sterling silver ring, unsigned. This stunning ring features a single rich blue turquoise nugget set into a sawtooth bezel. The artist accents the turquoise with a Sunface Kachina with inlay materials of dyed corals and mother of pearl. The artist adorns the beautiful Sunface with a stylish headdress featuring accent balls, swirling silver forms all designed to present a central sterling feather form. The ring is neither signed nor marked, but test sterling silver. The design is in the style of a Hopi artist and compares nicely to other tribal works, however, I cannot attribute the piece to the Hopi nation with 100% certainty due to the fact it is unsigned. The craftmanship of the individual components of this ring indicated this piece was handmade.
